Sometimes, it’s the dogs who bring out the best in humans…

Our dog library started out as a humble pile of sticks and a handmade sign. Soon, to our great surprise, fellow dog lovers began donating bowls, bags of treats, and toys. As the pile of goods grew we needed a fun way to organize it, and soon the Loyal Dog Library was born. As we watched the dog library fuel connection and a spirit of generosity in our neighborhood, we knew we had to spread the bright yellow library of dog joy.

What continues to surprise us the most, isn’t the dogs pulling their owners down the street for a treat (duh, they know how to sniff out the good stuff), but it’s how many people who come for a treat, stay for a conversation. Dogs just might be the secret ingredient for bringing humans together.
